On Oct. 24, West Plains Engineering made a $1,000 donation to the Casper Humane Society as part of our firm’s “Ways to Give” corporate philanthropy program. Julie Morton, a drafter in our Casper office, nominated the Humane Society to receive the contribution for her office and presented the check to the organization’s manager Craig Cummings, and his sweet friend, Buddy.
The Casper Humane Society was opened in 1956 to find homes for homeless animals, encourage the neutering and spaying of pets, prevent and alleviate cruelty to animals and provide humane education to the community. Julie is a frequent Humane Society volunteer, and an avid animal-lover.
West Plains Engineering “Ways to Give” was launched in 2018 with the goal of empowering employees to make a difference in their local communities. Not only does each have a voice in selecting causes for our firm to support financially, but each is also recognized and rewarded for getting out and participating in local events and initiatives that are personally important to them.
Congratulations to the Humane Society and thank you to Julie for making a difference!
